I hve studied jpnese culture thoroly & i knw tht honor, trust, respect and shame are imprtant parts of it. It's not like it is in America where u can become successful easly by hving money alredy, connections, manipulatin. If you betray sum1 in Japan, you bring shame to urself & ur family, company. Ur product sales will fall, the only way to get rid of that shame is repentance.

What this means to the japanese public is if ff versus xiii goes mutiplat no-one is going to want to purchase ff versus xiii for either system, nor will they purchase any of Square's games. This is a big prblem for them. You can laugh all you want, bt Square will in effect alienate an entire market with this move.

square shud come to E3 & reconfirm ff versus xiii is only on ps3 to save their company. nw u mite ask y ff13 didnt fail, because the kept it exclusive in japan, so japanese didnt care, bt its also why ffxiii is lowest selling ff ever in japan. at the least S-E shud make sure ff versus xiii is exclusive in japan.

If square do make this mistake they shud repent by making all futur FF games exclusive to only playsttion platforms.

Either Japan is loyal and Americans are betrayers, or Americans are smart and Japanese are self centred morons.

Basically, the reason it would go multi is the following:

FF13 sold over 1 mill on another consoles first outing since FF7. SE cant ignore the extra sales.

Japan is no longer that important in game sales or console sales. SE have to think about the Western markets, where M$ are just as if not bigger than Sony currently. If Natal has this huge push in sales M$ wants, then Sony's console will get alot less love from Japan in the West. Simply because 360 is the king of HD.
