Forums - Sony Discussion - Sony: Why LBP PSP will never have multiplayer

Wow why did he get banned? I didn't notice anything wrong with the statement other than sarcasm but really? Maybe I don't get it.

Anyways that is too bad, 1/3 of the processing power is quite a bit for just using the WiFi. The decision they made makes sense, it's better for it to be a fully functional game(minus online), than a very watered-down experience.

He went on: "It haunted us for a while, but we think we made the right decision, not including it. It allowed us to do all the physics and everything that I think makes LittleBigPlanet what it is."

The physics is what makes LBP what is is?  Ouch.

I saw this on computerandvideogames.com earlier today and thought it would be harmless to post.

I do regret what it made happen to Squilliam ):

OT: I don't think online multiplayer would have hurt LBP too much graphically or physically since now developers have full access to the PSP's processor.

Then I will never be interested in the portable editions.

Wait? what? spong? seriously, Spong? we are using Spong as a credible site? since when?

Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.

It seriously uses that much power? Then why does Monster Hunster seem to do fine on the PSP? Are they just purposely not bothering with it, because they want to focus on LBP2?

Im sorry for the disruption to this thread lastgengamer. Its an interesting point though that the wifi takes so much performance to utilize. It may be the fact that its an integrated platform SOC style device where the system effectively shares a common pool of resources unlike larger platforms which each chip is given more of a seperate role with their own compute resources.
