I admit it's not the saddest scene ever but it was still good.

And the ending in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days was sad. Roxas losing everything he knew and loved and then made a desperate attempt to make everything normal again. I thought it was brilliant.

It's a pretty common cliche

It may be cliched, but I thought that the execution was brilliant. 

Or maybe I'm just biased to Kingdom Hearts.

Vivi wasn't present at the end of game CGI and there's a 99% chance he wrote the monologue at the end. 

Yeah, he died.

I agree with all the choices, i have not played neither FF or Shadow of the colossus, but the Silent Hill is the one game almost made me cry, and Elite Beat Agents is very sad considering how the game goes, and im gonna trow another one Anju and Kafei story in Majoras Mask, look for it.

For me:
-Dom's big moment in Gears of War 2
-The first time the team took on Lavos in Chrono Trigger
-The Boss's fate in Metal Gear Solid 3 (my #1 sad gaming moment)
-Any ending in Mass Effect 2 in which everyone didn't come home alive
-The end of Metal Gear: Snake's Revenge (this game is the black sheep of the MG family but at the time, it was quite realistic and quite scary) JT was a P.O.W., Jennifer disappeared, and Nick died. The manual painted a picture of a kid friendly game, but this game traumatized me!!
-What Heather found when she got home in Silent Hill 3.......
-The ending of Final Fantasy X


I can spew out a ton of sad moments but I'll stop now.
