Nintendo fans, which console do you think is better Xbox 360 or PS3?

PS3 143 63.27%

Xbox 360 83 36.73%

Total:226

I chose PS3. I like the 360 better in design since it's more PC, but that's realy the problem with the MS 360. It's MS. I can't stand how MS is buying PC companies. Force the game onto the their XBox and then shut down the company when it performs poorly or get's the genius company to make rehash after rehash. I also don't like how MS is just working against PC gaming overall.

Pro Sony if I had to choose a side.

Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.

Used to think it was the 360 but now it is the PS3

Surprised to say this since I thought the Xbox was pretty worthless (not a big WRPG fan), but... the 360.

It has more of that arcade action I crave. It has a bigger focus on social gaming (which is what consoles excel at). Its top exclusives, for example, Gears / Halo always have split screen modes, and won't sacrifice it for graphics. That's something I can really appreciate.

The PS3 seems to focus more on cinematic experiences, and while I'm mostly fine with that when they're Japanese developed games (for whatever reason), there aren't enough this gen that interest me. I guess the handhelds stole too much of Japan's attention?

Well, the HD consoles are close to equal for retail games, but XBLA really tips it in its favor. In particular, Castle Crashers is pure awesome, and I'm really looking forward to Battle Block Theater. These games are like system seller quality for me, as hardly anyone makes stuff like this anymore. Good local multiplayer games are hard to come across, even on the Wii (though most of them are on there, a major reason Nintendo is my favorite), so my vote has to go to the 360.

you know, this thread needed more deatil

also for some reason I posted here and I forgot I did before

First off, people who don't own both don't count.

Secoundly, I pick Sony because of Bluy Ray, free online play, Internet that has kept me online since my PC fucked up, and most of all Games that are more than just shooters. Still shooters rule!!

Each console has their own strengths within their respected libraries, but I've got to vote for the X360 overall. At first glance it would appear that the PS3 is better for me than the X360 because it presumably attracts more Japanese developed titles which i honestly prefer over western developed games, however when i compare both libraries i find myself wanting a lot more X360 titles and exclusives more than what is available on the PS3.

These are the primary reasons for my decision to opt for an X360 over a PS3. People seem to have these gripes with the X360 like hardware failures and online subscription fee but i don't have any problems with these. I've had my X360 for a year and a couple of months and it still works just fine.
Paying for online isn't much of a problem for me either, i never really considered myself an online gamer before but its very rewarding and fun for a lot of games, i couldn't really care less for the single-player campaign in most of the popular online games such as Halo and Call of Duty; the online modes though, are very fun and addicting. They're never perfect, but they're incredibly fun and i always come back to play. That's replay value for you.
There are a lot of online features on the console which i admittedly overlook as well, but i imagine many people would appreciate them more than myself. Then there's the fact that many of my casual gaming friends have dished out the cash for an X360 because its library is largely the same as the PS3's but the console itself is cheaper and the online service is superior. Like most casual gamers they love online multiplayer and we always have a great time playing together.

Yes - for me at least - the X360 is definitely the stronger console in almost all area's. I am however, looking to pick up a PS3 sometime soon.

How technical is your game?

PS3, easily

My PC works so that's 90% of the 360 library and none of the red ring.

ps3, I really don't see the point in a 360.

Well I don't consider myself only a Nintendo fan but I am one. But I love my 360 haha. Whether for Xlive, Halo, etc, don't know what I'd do without that system. So while I am a fan of Nintendo, I'm just as much of a fan of the Xbox brand.

I do have a PS3, but it's main use to me so far has been for playing blu-rays. Don't really have much of a PS3 collection yet, and the ones I do have, I just haven't had time or will yet to really play. Most of the games I took time to play on PS3 (mainly my bro's PS3 when I didn't have one) was to see what the hype was about and usually I came off rather disappointed such as the case with KZ2. But I still like my PS3, but just doesn't get used a lot unfortunately.

Guess what, I've had Nintendo handheld and home console first this gen, and bought Sony consoles shortly after, because Nintendo's offering this gen didn't satisfy my gaming needs (with a very few exceptions).

MY HYPE LIST: 1) Gran Turismo 5; 2) Civilization V; 3) Starcraft II; 4) The Last Guardian; 5) Metal Gear Solid: Rising
