I've watched numerous 360 owners in here describe their pain when their system died and it felt like an unlikely situation for me. Now I'm on the other side since I faced that ring of death on my own console. It's weird because I've never pushed the console to its limits, I mean my average weekly play time was like 15 hours, plus I must say it was well ventilated. And yesterday, after 2 years, it happened...

So, now that I overcame the frustration and disapointment is there something I must do before sending my console to Microsoft? I mean ejecting the disc, removing the hard drive... And what about my personal information? Is it safe?

EASIER / FASTER way go to www.xbox.com and select 'REPAIR CONSOLE', print out label, but in a Brown Box

DO NOT write XBOX360 on the box

DO write service number on the box, save a copy for your records. (It's on the printed label)

Place Label on the Box with 'Clear Tape'

Take the box to any MAIL store that has a UPS/FEDX pickup, All Mail Stores Have Them, (Not Sure About GREECE)

Or if you see a UPS truck driving around flag him down and hand it to them.

Note: If you Call the XBOX Number, they will send you a label in the mail, takes 3 to 7 days, SO DO THE (EASIER / FASTER) Option

mayb this may help take your 360 place it on the ground take your car run it over then make a reverse and run it over again do it a couple of times until it becomes dust. after that dig a hole around 6feet collect your dusted 360 and bury it. once u bury and cover it pour some water pray hard a tree will grow baring 360 as fruits.

U sure this works outside NA? Cos I can't imagine it works like that in Sweden. We don't have any "UPS/FEDX".

The older Xbox 360s were like time bombs, don't beat yourself up about it, it happened to a lot of people, but there are so many places that can repair it for free. Hell I think even Geek Squad has started doing it, but since you are still under warranty you should just send it in to MS.

In about a week you will receive a playboy in the mail, that's mine don't touch it, then you will receive a box. Put your 360 in that box and send it back to MS, they will get it back to you ASAP, Sadly for them that's another week.

Check for dust before you send it in, it just could be a wad at the fans.
