Forums - Gaming Discussion - If You're a Core Gamer That Hasn't Purchased a Wii yet

I play my Wii almost everyday now since I bought TVC. Think about buying SMG2 but I may buy SMG first to see if I like it.

Just want to play good games

I don't listen to reviews, also I dont like motion controls so a Wii is simply not for me.

I waited until this year to get a Nintendo64, so maybe in about 5 years the Wii will be something I'll consider.

If you're a core gamer and you still haven't been persuaded by the wii's offerings (or lack of key third party offerings) to purchase a Wii yet, then would outstanding reviews from major publications like the 10 out of 10 for SMG2 from IGN make you any more likely to purchase one in the near future?

Well IGN rated the first 10 didn't they?

For old nintendo fans, they really have little reason not to pick up a wii now, other than if they detest motion controls.

see Core Nintendo gamer and Core gamer are 2 different core, SMG2 sells to core nintendo gamer

Some people have just convinced themselves that they will never get a Wii, no matter how many good games it gets. It could have 100 games with 10/10 scores and it probably wouldn't sway some. I think some people just put way too much value in HD graphics and unified online system.

Nope, I just don't care for Nintendo's games, and more of the same is unlikely to convince me...

IT WON'T

I borrowed it for 12 weeks from my friend when NSMB Wii launched

I have the Wii and I think it's the worst console due to its lack of good games compared to the PS3 and 360.
