pretty much It was Red Dead or Alan Wake.....And I weighed both in and Red Dead just seemed like the better title for my money's worth

People buy games coz it's AAA?

If I was excited for a game, then I'd buy it. Look at FF XIII. Reviews came in with 8's and 7's with 9s and yet those didn't affect my decision at all.

But to answer you question, if I had an x360, I still would not buy Alan Wake purely because I'm no fan of Survival Horror games. So it would've never had been on my radar ever.

Really? oh you should be cursing Santa Monica studios then..that was the OP which prompted me to reply so(who cares if it was AAA or not, I don't own a 360 and I still desire to play the game..but I should move along..wat else?..I too mite fail big time playing AW on 360!!
