Interesting information coming out of the conference call to investors from the COO.  He said for the February - April quarter PS3s were out of stock 80% of the time while the Wii was out of stock 50% of the time.

Damn, that's quite a bit, and Gamestop is a huge video game seller

So blame the PS3 for lackluster weekly sales!!

I think it's a Sony production problem, GS is the biggest gamestore in the US and the PS3 is actually selling less then other consoles weekly and it's still in shortage.

they are out of stick at my two local walmarts as well

no. blame sony. they were unprepared and cost them selvies alot in sells. well we could blame both?

But not really big on console sales.  They sell them, sure, but they always have much smaller stock of consoles when compared to Walmart, Best Buy, etc.  They really focus way more on games.

When are Nintendo and Sony going to fix these issues?

That's impressive but can be deceitful. Most good businesses buy an amount of goods that they think will sell. That could be 20 PS3s per store a week or only 3 PS3s per store a week. I don't want to rain on this parade. Congrats to PS3 for selling well.
