I don't think they will. R/B and G/S were relatively dated graphically, and also didn't have a lot of the newer features of the 3rd and 4th generations. R/S have current-ish graphics and features. Plus those games are the worst of the series.

However if they did do a remake it'd be a good chance to make a full 3D Pokemon.

Passion Ruby and Somber Saphire idk I think of ruby as that and blue as a somber doesnt really fit but they poopped in my head.

BloodRuby and StarSaphire - these actually exist and are cool names! But blood may scare the little children... so ScarletRuby is fine too, even if fictional!
