Just wait for next week's numbers.

This week's weren't for all regions, nor were they for an entire week.

But if next week's sales aren't significantly higher (several times higher), I wouldn't pin any hopes on this being one of those "great word of mouth games" that eventually sees boosted or continual sales well after the initial release like the original Uncharted.

There really isn't any reason why AW shouldn't have performed on par with Heavy Rain.

So many people saying they would have bought it if it was on a PC and claiming the game was overhyped.
Conviently forgetting what real overhyping is. And I'm sure all those saying they would have bought it on a pc would have.

It's sad seeing such a good game flopping so hard in sales. Sure, the game was 520p subHD and it wasn't what it was hyped to be, but it's still one of the best exclusives the 360 has...

They probably should go PC now, it should sell more. Plus, it would be playable on HD.

I really did want to buy it on the PC, though.  They were silly buggers for not settling on platforms much earlier in the development cycle - unless PC is on hold vs fully dropped of course.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

Not having AW available for PC has zero bearing on how many units should have been moved on the Xbox.

It's not as though there would have been some hypothetical scenario in which the availability of a PC version of AW would make more gamers buy the Xbox version instead. If anything, it would have sold even less on the Xbox.

It may well be that AW would have been better off as a PC/multi platform release. From a tech standpoint, there's no question it would have been better off on PC considering the whole 960x540, 547, 576 (or whatever the final render resolution is) compromise.

Give it another week before jumping to any early conclusions.
