no , while i like the PSP , i hated the idea for the PSP Go , and these new "Touch Screen" PSP2 rumors.

i am also not a big fan of the DS XL and how the screens are huge but pixaleted as i am not a fan of the IPad.

I hear ya, Im not a fan of the "3D" trend gaming is starting to adopt. I dont want to wear some stupid glasses to play games lol

This is why it's a good thing that the 3DS won't require glasses

"Nintendo 3DS"(temp) is going to be the new portable game machine to succeed "Nintendo DS series".

Quote from this PDF I found at Nintendo's site:

Well okay you have destroyed one of the corollaries/weaknesses

Let's see if that affects his HP or if we have to go after more

like i said before, PR talk doesn't work with me, i need a better reason.

So in one sentence Nintendo admits that the DSi is basically a DS with pretty packaging (really successful packaging) and then says the 3DS will succeed that series and that is not enough to convince you that it is a new generation?

Sure, you don't need to get excited for it, but it is coming.

I personally am excited for everyone to start announcing the next gen. I just love to see what is next; be it TVs, computers, phones... anything. I buy a small percentage of what I am interested in, because I am simply interested in the tech and my budget makes me take a more practical approach.

Because the majority of analyst and video game journaliste never praise nintendo.
So the nintendo fan must do the job. So I will do my job now.

Nintendo 3DS will be awesome.

But this makes me wonder:

Why Microsoft, that has countless "specialized" and "independent" "journalists" praising its crappy OS' and licking its arse needs so much to have it licked by lusers too?

It's the new thing, so obviously everyone's excited and eager to find out more!

On a side note, I wonder how long 'till Sony announce 3D capabilities for PSP2. That it'll have a touchscreen and camera(s) is a given imo, but I also wonder if they have the guts to include dual screens...

By Sony track record, PSP2 should have 4 screens :)

I don't have time to read 3 pages! So instead I'll just answer as if I was the first person in this thread.
We're acting that way because It'll be the first Nintendo machine since the Wii, which was, as you say, a Big Bang. And it was the first Nintendo console since the DS, which was also, as you say, a Big Bang.

We naturally expect Nintendo to surprise us with totally new gameplay mechanic possibilities. We don't expect Nintendo to kick technological ass with stuff like 3D... that doesn't need glasses.
If Nintendo keeps up it's current trend of kicking innovation ass, while also kicking technological ass... That sounds big bangish to me.

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

I'm excited because I like the current DS very much, even if it has some issues: its 3d rendereing capability is quite limited, it hasn't got the analog stck, it's screens are a little to small.
3DS promises to fix all of these, also giving devlopers the ability to create complex 3d games on it.
I always thought stereoscopic 3D as a cool thing for gaming, and since I don't have the money to afford a new TV (that will probably be outdated in a year), the 3DS is the only opportunity for me, not to mention than usually I play more games on DS than on Ps3, with the 3DTV I would spend more to play less games at the end...

3DS is going to change all of human history. It'll be like 3 DS's duct-taped together.

Nintendo are going to being copying Apple's Ipad design then:

I expect it to be like all previous handhelds, hugely sucessfull.

Surely the topic creator meant the Large Hadron Collider.....

Anyway, I'm really excited for the 3DS.

True, it will all come down to size for me. I have big hands, so tiny buttons and a tiny screen like the original DS would put me off.
