Forums - General Discussion - Question about Windows Movie Maker

Is there a way to download a youtube video and then only take a little part of it in your movie??

For example, lets pretend Spongebob said "Hey" at the last ten seconds of the video. Is there a way to only get those last 10 seconds in your movie?

Not possible unless you know how to download a Youtube video (which I didn't think was possible). If you find the video on other site that allows you to download it, and it is in Movie Makers applicable formats (.avi .wmv and whatever else it can handle)...then yes.

Some add-ons to FireFox let you download video's streamed. After that simply import it into the Mover Maker program.

To only use a bit of the video, drag the video from the import page onto the main streaming. Then simply cut off the parts you do not want.

If this is too vague, Movie Maker comes with a tutorial / information on how to do things, use that for a more detailed description.

Also I suppose I better mention it since I do recall reading new members who jump into discussion are thought suspicious. That I am a new member signed up, yet long browser. Thought might as well make an account.

particular download managers can do it, not sure which ones exactly
