Would you wanna see 3D movies on 3DS?

Yes give me Avatar on 3DS 72 68.57%

If it works (as in screen size, aspect and resolution make it "just nice enough") and adding it doesn't take away from the gaming capabilities (which I think it wouldn't), then I can't see why not have the option. I'm sure lot's of people who can't afford a 3DTV would see it as a big plus.

Edit: But yeah, I'd probably never use it.

No, my eyes hate me as it is.

Pixel Art can be fun.

Netflix has already approached Nintendo about having their service on current DS systems and Reggie said they are considering it. i think that with the 3DS model supposedly having a faster more capable online connection, it's quite possible we'll see the service appearing on the platform especially if they consider how popular it has been on the Wii. i doubt it will be at launch but hopefully Netflix will be offering 3d movies by the time it does.

a Netflix partnership is Nintendo's ideal choice as it requires little responsibility on their part (keeping them focussed on the gaming aspect) while placing an attractive bulletpoint on the list of features.

For me, it depends on the 3ds' screen size.

If it does it shouldn't be retail-based like the PSP and GBA, it should be internet-based like Netflix.

yes, but only if theyre not downloaded, because that would be bloody expensive with Nintendo.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

if you are thinking physically then , no Portable systems should have downloadable movies.
UMD movies are very hard to find, and they're not even worth it.

they should release movies (3D or not) on DSiWare, like Sony is doing with PSN

I was thinking the exact same thing yesterday. I could go for 3d movies on the 3ds. It might be the first time I actually want to watch movies on a portable. Otherwise I don't watch many movies on portable devices. I know the GBA had television shows of pokemon, but it seemed limited in size and expensive for just 1 show.

Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.

3D Netflix on the 3DS.

I dont think I would use it. What resolution would this movie run at? WOuld the 3D even look like 3D if you dropping the resolution to fit the 3DS
