Capcom x Platinum Games: God Hand 2!

I second this idea if only to continue the hopeful wish that it may come true if enough people say it out loud  :)

Current Favorites:
Wii - Muramasa, MH3, Metroid Trilogy, RS2, Okami, RE4, COD, Dead Space, Scarface
PC - L4D, TF2, BFBC2, Killing Floor, Aquaria, Warsow, many UDK indie games
Mods - MechWarrior:Living Legends, Star Wars: Galatic Warfare, PVKII, Goldeneye Source, L4D mods
PS3 - Demon Souls, Way of the Samurai 3
Social Modding Club: ModDb | Steam

Probably going to be another Gears of War-clone

Bah, knowing them it will be a french sluty kiss to the HD twins userbase and a kick in the groin to the Wii users.

Screw them.

Monster Hunter Tri and Tatsunoko vs Capcom released this year, I don't know if you heard.

Monster Hunter Tri and Tatsunoko. Cool games...but the ratio of games between them and the wii users is ridiculous. they have Resident evil 5, Resident evil 5 Gold, Lost planet 2, MARVEL VS CAPCOM 3, Street Fighter 4 and Super street fighter 4, Dead Rising 2...and we got what? 2 mediocre Resident evil spin offs, a bad port of Dead Rising, a boring brawler and a quirky niche game that it was sent to die (zak and wiki). Iam sorry but 2 games doesn't say that Capcom do care about what wii owners would like to play.  There's no reason to treat us that way.

Well, I disagree. Sure, Capcom can be a bunch of bastards sometimes, especially their PR is laughably bad, but they brought more quality games to the Wii than all other third parties combined: Resident Evil 4, Okami, Zack & Wiki, Tatsunoko, Monster Hunter Tri...

I couldn't care less if some of those games were "sent out to die". I can play them and I enjoy them.

Capcom's Wii support has been good. Yes they likely could be (and probably should be) doing more for the platform (MVC3, RE4.5, MML3, etc), but at least what they've delivered has been above par.

Capcom should be thanking Wii as well, given it was their best platform last year.

I just think that we deserve the same attention and respect that the HD users have. I don't see a valid reason from them to not doing it. They have the money and resources but they keep giving us french fries while the HD users have Rib steak.

Indeed and not the other way around like someone said. 3d parties are in business and they have to work for the customers not "doing them a favor". I agree that they have done more and better titles than the other ones but just one real AAA title after 4 years is just...well.

How can Resident Evil 6 be a huge announcement?
Also with an outside developer it won't be a huge annoucement, on the contrary.

''Hadouken!''

Well, let's look at it:

+ Resident Evil 6 (seriously doubt it, together with Street Fighter, RE is their main franchise - although if true, it would be a bombshell)

+ Devil May Cry 5 (Ninja Theory rumours for a long time, and it fits in terms of timeline, DMC4 was early in this gen, we're due for DMC5 any day now)

+ Onimusha 5 (the last one was in 2006 on PS2, and no current gen version, so it fits)

+ Power Stone 3 (i love the dreamcast games, but it's not a huge franchise nor would it be a huge bombshell)

+ Dino Crisis 4 (kinda fits, but it's not a big franchise)

+ Rival Schools 3 (fits, but it's not a big franchise - similar to Power Stone)

+ Strider 3 (it would essentially be a revival like BC, doesn't fit their new policy. I do know that they planned to give a new Strider to a specific western dev, but market performance changed that, dunno where those plans proceeded)

+ Darkstalkers 4 (same as Strider, doesn't fit their new policy. Plus, I guess they would develop it internally anyway, are there any western fighting game devs left??)

I say DMC 5 or Onimusha 5 if they stick to their policy, or Strider 3 if they don't stick to it.
