First details on Umbrella Chronicles.  Not the same game.  Billy Coen makes a return. Take a look and once again post in the news section where this is meant to be. ioi I don't know why it's not working.

Co-op could be cool. Only 25% complete indicates that it won't release this year(?), although odder things have happened in the past.

 I do remember them saying the game was "in 2 parts", in a previous statement. But I wonder if they have just decided to re-release RE4 instead of the second part?

The on-rails shooter part is a deal breaker for me.  I may rent it to see what its like but if that holds true then I doubt I'll be buying it like I originally expected.

Am I the only one that actually thinks this is really cool? I mean I've been waiting for a rail shooter since the WIi came out. My hopes were house of the dead, this is better. And it looks like it'll add more than the traditional rail shooter. They've so far said that there will be timed button sequences like RE 4, and that you'll be able to look around, helping you to find secret items. Sure it's a different game, but It sounds like it could be a really great one.

P.S. And with this and the RE 4 wiimake already in the pipe, it looks like the Wii will be getting quite a bit of RE love. 

 Aside from the "perfect lightsaber game," a rail shooter has been mine and my friend's dream for the Wii ever since it was announced.  We cross our fingers for a House of the Dead game all the time.

The intense action and speed of those games...we want an experience like that with the Wii.  I know it may not be near the same, with the IR functionality of the Wiimote...but I still think it could be made. 

It'd be so awesome...a rail shooter would be great advertising for the Wii too, a fun pick-up-and-play shooter...I don't see why people are upset.  A more RE4 type game would be great too...they're just two different games in my opinion, and I'd want both.

Apparently, its only "partially" on rails. So at least you can back-track rooms, and keep exploring areas (at least I assume that is what they mean). I don't really mind this so much.

it just hit me.

I looked at those screenshots...and if they look good full-size...I can see this game being amazing, and scary as hell.  That one monster pic looks awesome.  I love the color of the game too.

It didn't really get to me before, but knowing it's more of a rail shooter, I can see this game being freaking scary and fun. Shoot...now I like it, and now I have to wait!
