I was Second Generation My first console was the Atari 2600 and my games included Donkey Kong , MarioBros and Pac-Man. At least those were my favorites.

2nd. I do remember playing on some shit Atari clone but I really got into gaming with the NES.

Well, if memory serves, I started gaming somewhere around 1989-1991, but I didn't have an 4th gen console until 1992, when my brother bought us a Super Nintendo.
So... Does that count as the 3rd gen or the 4th?

Third gen. My first console was the Sega Master System. But we didn't kept it for long, we sold it and bought a NES. Man, I was soo sad, I was like 3 or 4 years back then. I could barely hold the controller, but I already started gaming. :)

Well if you started gaming on the NES, then thats when you started gaming. Not nescessarily when you bought a console. Which console did you start playing on. I owned an Atari2600 as my first console but I was born with one. My mom raised me a gamer. But if you started gaming on the NES/MasterSystem then your third generation!

4th generation with the SEGA, thats what we called it back then

2nd, first console was Atari 2600

Started at 2nd with the 2600 at friends houses. I remember playing ghostbusters and having no idea what I was supposed to be doing.

Since then I've played games on these consoles:
NES, Master System
SNES, Sega Genesis
PSOne, N64
GameCube , PS2, X-Box
Wii, PS3

But only ever bought a PS2 and PS3.
