Just last week i could have swore the gap was about 5.2 million, but this week its at 5.05 million.

So was there some kind of adjustment somewhere.

Not long till the gaps under 5 million now then.

It seems, but the fact its that the battle gonna be epic this xmas, i love to see hdconsoles beat the wii by a lot!

The end of September ship totals were 33.5m for x360. VGC sales for Oct 03 - 32,675,414.
The end of December ship totals for PS3 were 33.5m. VGC sales for Jan 02 - 31,078,061.
And there were some shortages for 120gb PS3 model in NA during January.


The end of March ship totals were 40.2m for x360. VGC sales for March 27 - 39,080,401.
The end of March ship totals for PS3 were 35.7m. VGC sales for March 27 - 33,770,771.
And there still were some PS3 shortages in NA.

there should be another adjustment coming soon, there's no way there's so many PS3 sitting around on shelves. Especially since there was a shortage not so long ago.

Every year we keep hearing that the PS3 is getting closer or going to catch up to the 360 and every year it's the same thing. I'm pretty sure that MS will sell a hell of lot more Natal systems than Sony will Move systems and therefore MS will still be ahead of Sony and probably increase it's lead for another couple of years if not for the lifetime of the 360's life cycle as I believe MS will put out a new system before Sony does. As for the Wii, it will still dominate and probably be replaced by 2012.
