Obvious shipped numbers are obvious.

Well I just wanted to proof that this new number can't be shipped. UNLESS this is US only.
OR both version really sold 1.6m each (although that would be 1. quite a coincidence and 2. actually too high for the PC version)

Well it sold almost 1 Million in its first week on xbox 360, add in PC sales week 1 so the 1 week 2 Million shipment is fine really. Its just it hasn't shown legs after that on xbox 360 atleast, probably on PC too if this 1.6 Million combined number is true

But they wouldn't go to the trouble of putting a bracket saying "including digital downloads" if they weren't including PC sales in.

So its overtracked on xbox 360, by how much depends on how strong PC sales were. We'll never know that.

But yes 1.6 Million definetely seems low.

Not likely at all IMO.

The numbers for the other games match up for worldwide totals.

As do the recently released Bad Company 2 numbers. I don't see why they would do it differently for just one game.

But look in the transcript to investors how the EA guy uses the word "sold through" (page 2):

"Q4 fiscal '10 highlights. In our packaged goods business. EA was the number one publisher in North America and Europe for the quarter reflecting a four-point share gain year-over-year. We were also number one for the fiscal year with four titles in the top 20 in both North America and Europe.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2. We sold through 3 million packaged and digital units in the quarter for Europe and North America combined. Battlefield: Bad Company 2 launched with the Metacritic grading of 89. And to date, we have sold through to over 4 million units of Battlefield: Bad Company 2.

Mass Effect 2 sold through over 1.6 million package and digital units in the quarter for Europe and North America combined and launched with the Metacritic rating of 96 on the Xbox 360.

Dante's Inferno sold through almost 1 million units in the quarter for Europe and North America combined, more than any other new intellectual property during the quarter. And the sequel title, ARMY OF TWO: THE 40th DAY sold through over 1 million units worldwide in the quarter."

Notice here again the word "sell-through" when the investor clearly asked for shipments.

So did Bad Company 2 ship 3 million copies in the quarter, or it was actual 3 million copies sold to gamers?

I doubt it and if so then that's just wrong

ME2 is 'imo' the BEST game on the 360 if not one of the best and only an idiot would argue that...so if these sales are true, MS isn't supporting this game enough or something, it's just upsetting as a gamer, I hope that this is not true and if it is true then they better friggin do a better job promoting games like this

Seeing Modern Warfare 2 sell 10 million+ and see this at only 1.6 makes me very angry at the idiots who own an xbox 360.
