This is very well noted , and as we saw for the last month , nintendo does not need a huge event to give us trailers and info on upcoming games...

True. So don't you both see? Pachter is proven right once again!

Looking at most of the names on that list I stand by my statement. |
They are games and they support the balance board. I see no other qualifiers in your claim, so pretending you can stand by it shows you didn't even research the comments you made.
And even if you meant "game I care about", that doesn't make it a failure just because you personally don't care about the games.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs
So KylieDog, in a couple of years we can use these games and their sales as a metric for whether or not Move and Natal fail? Sounds fun.

Sorry but two shovelware cheerleader games as examples from that list I don't really count as support. |
The problem with your argument is your basing the "failure" of the balance board mainly off the efforts of the 3rd parties (or lack thereof). That's like calling the Wii a failure because of the lack 3rd party games, and lack of quality 3rd party games.
But the fact is, the premier game that originally came with the balance board, and was the centerpiece to show off the thecnology, Wii Fit, has been a phenomenal success. In fact, it is now one of the most successful games of all time. Wii Fit and Wii Fit Plus together have sold 34 million! That's not exactly what I'd call a "failure."
Vitality Sensor will probaly be a similar situation; a couple off MAJOR successes, then nothing beyond that. But I wouldn't call that a failure, since the primary game to show off the hardware will likely be a hit, so it shows people are very interested in the hardware when the games utilize it correctly.
I feel sorry for Nintendo fans, Patcher is always picking on the wii, in such a docile "I'm innocent!!" manor.
