Okay so I know must of you already gone through that phase in your life dealing with acne. According to proactive 90% of teenagers experience some form of acne. Though I question this because at my school I dont really see other people with acne problems.

What acne products really work? I cant trust anything from companies because they are obviously going to use propaganda and proclaim they work.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            My family (the ones i want to take the dr. phils show lol) make it such a big deal though at school my acne is never mentioned. also my family is so racist. they make fun of me because i am tanner than them ugh i hate it. SO what products work? please help, im desperate, i am now even using toothpaste, it stings so it must be working?

Um, soap and water worked for me. If its such a big deal for you i recommend you try that before resorting to other products.

Ugh, my experience with acne as a teenage was this:

Pimples are going to happen REGARDLESS of what products one uses. It all depends on your genetic makeup, some people are just going to have acne regardless. Sure, it's embarassing... yet it's something that dwindles down over time. Now I feel like I'm a mentor here.

Don't use anything harsh. A lot of those acne "solutions" in my opinion actually make it worse. I used Burt's Bees acne solution... it worked really well and it was more sensitive on my skin.

I didn't use the whole 3 step process... I just used the taller bottle in the picture on the left.

You can get this stuff all over, like Target, Walmart, etc.

Everyone needs to play Lost Odyssey! Any opposition to this and I will have to just say, "If it's a fight you want, you got it!"

Dont put so much garbage in your system (i.e fast food)

Drink plenty of water

And keep regular in your cardio work.

Sleep at least 8 hours

Internal factors affect acne far more than external.

Pretty much this. Eat good food, avoid excessive fat and sugar, same goes for drinks. Have some salad and fruits. Do some sports. Shower and wash your face.

If you sweat a lot (and generally for the sake of the rest of your skin) wear cotton/wool instead of polyester. Also goes for shoes, especially in summer. Pick up either a pair of sandals if it's acceptable/viable where you live or some really light trainers (not lined up with fabric) or simple leather shoes.

Even beyond teenage years people still get acne problems. I still occasionally get pimples myself. Since I've started eating fruits and vegetables with almost every meal (at  least twice a day), I've experienced a noticeable decrease in appearances. Expanding a bit on what jesus kung fu magic said, I'd say that anything that is prepackaged that also contains a bunch of unnatural looking ingredients will also probably contribute to this problem. I've noticed a stark difference before and after I've consumed a number of 'Philly Cheesesteak' Hotpockets and some frozen burgers.

You should also note, though, that this may simply be a hormonal imbalance brought on by puberty. The things we advise may not work for you, too, since different solutions work for different people. Some will not work and your only solution may just be time.

Avoid Doritos!

so far I've sussefully avoided acne by daily cleaning my face with cotton and alchol, but that is preventive way...

Put a freshly washed, clean towel on top your pillow every night. Also make sure you wash your pillowcase at least every couple weeks.

Do that for a week and get back to us.
