Sims3 and expac releasing same time? Double dipping :)

Around the Network

Bulletstorm and The Sims 3 appeal to me. Wonder if we'll see Mass Effect 3? Bioware said they wanted a quick dev time for 3 ...

I almost fell asleep before I got to the end of the list.

Dead Space 2 and Medal of Honor.

For all those saying "Dead Space ftw" or whatever, based on the first game - you do know they announced this will be much more of a shooter (my guess is think RE5 as compared to the earlier RE games)

Currently Playing: Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked, Professor Layton and the Curious Village

Anticipating: Xenoblade, The Last Story, Mario Kart 7, Rayman Origins, Zelda SS, Crush3D, Tales of the Abyss 3DS, MGS:Snake Eater 3DS, RE:Revelations, Time Travellers, Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney, Luigi's Mansion 2, MH TriG, DQ Monsters, Heroes of Ruin

that is correct, but the first one was a shooter anyways. With atmostphere, the key in that game was atmosphere, I doubt EA redwood forgets how to do that. My impression was they are going to vary the gameplay with intense shooting sections with other sections but more action oriented as well as the other things, the main problem with the first game and was heavily critisized by the critics was the variation in the gameplay.

I however do not jump on the bandwagon of hate as EA redwood (now visceral) made my 2nd favorite game this gen.  Thus, I trust EA Redwood (not EA the publishing company) them not to screw up even if it's more action based. Just like how I trust bioware not to make crappy games (even though they are EA).

Those are announced titles.

Also, taking in consideration what they've released this year

Army of Two 2 - Shooter
Dragon Age: Awakening - RPG
Mass Effect 2 - RPG
Dante's Inferno - Action/Adventure/Hack n Slash
Battlefield 2 - Shooter
Command & Conquer 4: Tiberium Twilight - Strategy
Skate 3 - Sports
Fifa World Cup - Sports

So 2 RPGS (I say 2 because there has been expansions for ME2 mixed with Dragon Age expansions equal 1), 2 shooters, 1 Adventure, 2 sports and 1 strategy. Pretty diverse.

Well yeah, previously they have had variety, and they may end up increasing the variety of their E3 lineup, in which case I'll take this back, but at the moment they have a fairly narrow focus for their upcoming games

i used to be excited for Dead Space 2 until this news surfaced:

"EA: Dead Space 2 Will Have Modern Warfare-Level Action"

...i would rather have "Silent Hill-Level Scare"

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”
