I'm still not convinced that Natal is going be as big a deal as some people think.

It's still a mid-generation add-on, the likes of which have never played a significant role.

Never before has a mid-generation add-on been treated as a whole new console launch. Obviously it will be available seperately as a add-on but it will be packaged with every 360 and most likely a redesigned 360 at that. Natal will be big.
