One piece is mega popular in Japan, overseas not so much.

One piece far exceeds Naruto in Bleach in sales (Japan) and quality of the story and characters

Are you sure? I have couple of shonen jumps from a few months back and one piece never made the "front page". Naruto still dominates, with Bleach distant second, while Onepiece is somehow just above the rest of the publication. Naruto is the only manga close to dethroning Dragonball as the "king". (Mainly because it's a reharsh of the same theme? :)

In Japan it's 3rd best selling manga of all time which Naruto nor Bleach will ever catch up to.

"Shueisha announced that they sold 176 million volumes of One Piece manga so far; volume 56 set a new record for the highest initial print run of an manga in history."

Yep OP is pretty damn huge franchise, not only in Jp even in countries like China

But personally I don't like OP much (the new chapters are great tho) overall I still prefer Naruto BUT even then all these are pale in comparison to ANIME like Beserk!

My only major complaint about the first one is that the singleplayer mode (unlocking all the stuff, finishing story) was megaboring. Run around the village, search for ingredients, collect scrolls and take boring missions over and over (catching that little dog, I almost commited suicide, was god awefull and took me like 10 tryies). But the boss battles were pretty awesome, really nice visuals, fighting was better than expected and it's as close to the original as possible. If they can improve upon the first one, I might get this one also. I just wish for a really epic Bleach game...

You should just download the save file for it, that's what I did for the first one.

All I want is a improved SP mode and online, the battle system is already good.

The only thing that was good about the battle system in UNS1 was that you could jump around like in the anime, but beside that it was just a button smasher with very few combos and the different characters played very much alike. Every Naruto game has it's advantages, Ultimate Ninja series has the most characters, the XBox games have the best SP, Clash of Ninja series has the best fighting system and UNS the best graphics and animations. I always hoped that there would be a Naruto game with all these advantages, and UNS2 seems to get closer to the "perfect Naruto game", with almost perfect graphics and a good SP Mode. Now it only needs downloadable characters and a good fighting system and I will buy a HD console since I'm a Narutard and don't want to miss the almost percet Naruto game!

UNS1 fighting system was very good, you don't need to be a fan of naruto to like it

sure you can just mash buttons (like most fighting games) but that wont lead anywhere against a skilled opponent

and with the improvements this ones is bringing i have no doubt it wil have a superb fighting system

Now i just hope they make the SP more fun and less repetitive

I agree, mashing buttons will not work against skilled players. Also, there were quite a few combos that could connect with ninjutsu and ultimate jutsus, not to mention using items and support characters to extend chains.

Plus I'm really excited about the demo comming out tomorrow. Can't wait to try that out.

Where da Naruto UNS 1 boards at??!?!?!?

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.

Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi
