I have to agree w/ Twesterm (man, for the longest time i though it was twestern)

I mean, they're offering ppl a chance to do something that most ppl will never experience. While i personally have no interest in this, and those points ultima brought up are all valid, there are still ppl (kids?) who would have an awesome time doing this. Like twesterm said, the prize is all there in black and white. There will be kids who will find this to be a crazy idea and will jump at the chance to do this.

When I was smaller, I used to be an extra in movies. The pay was pretty frkn awesome for only one day's work, but I found it to be very boring. (I still did it anyway cuz who passes up 300 bucks for one day's work of sitting around, waiting) Anyway, my friend found out about this and found it was so awesome to have a chance to see how movies are made and to be in a movie even if its one scene. He came with me that day w/o any promise of being paid for it and he had a blast. (He got paid in the end but that's irrelevant)

While many of us it seems, would pass up on an opportunity like this. There are tons of other ppl who are open to trying new things, just for the sake of having the experience and enjoying themselves. There's no reason to diss the contest just because you're not open to trying new things.

Also remember that this isn't 10 hours of forced labor or 10 hours of office work. As someone else said, it's 10 hours of a good time (assuming you're into that thing) and 10 hours of good memories.

Hell, if I lived in California I would be totally up for that.

LOL!

HAHA! Oh god, its a complete waste of time. How is this even legal? Aren't there laws about free labor?

So?

Everything about it is a cool experience.  You get to hang out with a bunch of game developers (even if they're just PSN developers), you get to hang out with a bunch of gamers, you get to be in a trailer for a game, you get to walk around acting like a zombie, and you get to get made up to be a zombie by a professional make-up artist.

If you're into any of those things, it's a cool experience.  You all are focusing on the 10 hours part like it's 10 hours of actual work when it isn't.

Looks like loads of fun. I would do that.

I can't believe they not paying the people to do it.
