Forums - Website Topics - How to post a ______ on VGChartz

Okay! I'm going to try to post a video...I've never been able to get it to work before...here it goes!

Awesome!  It worked...+rep to Dolla Dolla for the info!

Well, I now only have access to a PS3 & 360...Plan on buying a wii soon (lol, if I can ever find one available!) but will probably wait until some of the major RPG's come out like Dragon Quest & Tales, etc.

Anyhow, I'm so far behind in games to play that I'm not in a huge hurry (lol, haven't even gotten a chance to finish God of War II yet!)

You have to create a topic from the actual forum, you can't do it while reading a thread. Go to the forum menu and pick the forum you want your topic to be in, then there should be a "Create New Thread" button.

As for picking mods, every so often we get together and pick someone that everyone hates and make that person a mod just to watch everyone's reactions.

In all seriousness usually it comes from volunteers who've been around the site awhile, post meaningful and frequent contributions, and can do so without inciting negative reactions from other users, and even then only when we have a specific need.

How do guys do it when you have those white boxes over what your going to post?
and how do you create a topic?

I believe you are referring to quoting what someone else says, followed by your response, yes?

Well, that's simple enough, too.  When you are in a topic, everyone has three buttons below their post, at the right labeled:Reply, Quote, & Report this post.

If you click the Quote button, this will open the rich text editor with the person's quote in a box, then you type right below it.

And to post a topic, highlight  Forum in the menu bar up top  and select wherever you wish to post a topic (i.e., Website). When you are in the specific forum, a button labeled Create New Thread appears on the top right.

let me try

How do i get people to read my posts and not ignore them without being a Soriku?

Be refreshingly original. Everyone likes a person with a good personality. Argue points, but argue intelligently. Concede when you are wrong. Know that you are human and prone to make mistakes. Have a good sense of humor. Post pictures of cats.

And you're welcome to everyone who found this thread helpful. Bod is the man!

I'm stupid, I skimmed right past it, when I went to save my changes from my profile...lol

Thanks again Dolla Dolla 8)
