you drive a good point. but for me it's never been about who's in first, secound, or third. because PC's is killing us all. PC wins every gen. PC was the first to game and will be the last, but back to your point. PS3 might win and most gamers, analist, and publishers (EA/activion)beleave it will. as for fanboys! why even get into that? PS3 might win but it won't make a difference because when it does PS4, Wii2/hd, and xbox whatever will already be out and there will be a thread saying PS3 win's the 7th gen war in the middle of the 8th gen war. or PS3 win's in 2016: take your pick?

Ive owned a 360 since early 2006 and never bought a replacement, why would anyone spend 200 dollars when microsoft fixes/replaces it for free?

PS3 has the best games. That's all that counts.

I just want to thank everyone who actually took the time to read my OP and answer my question. Those who see I was not "bashing the PS3" or any of that crap I have seen thrown my way. Why would I bash my favorite console?

I have seen some people give me insight as to why things are the way they are on this site, so I thank you for that. I have seen others simply give the haters more ammo, and that makes me sad. Either way, it is what it is. If some of you want to lump me in with the "PS3 haters" then feel free. Ill let my posting speak for itself.

2.  Selling 30-40k more than your competition having cut your price by $100, released a new form factor and supposedly having a superior library is pretty poor and certainly not "kicking the butt". I'll remind you its still over 5 million behind and that gap is closing very very slowly and actually growing in the US. 

People wouldn't have an issue with PS3 fanboys if they stuck to their own forum on here generally.  The issue is their insistance on wrecking threads all over the site.  It's not hard, if your not interested in something then just stay away and don't post.  I know that there is so much bullshit FUD posted in the Sony forums on here so I generally don't read it anymore, no need to argue with those in complete and utter brainwashed denial imo.

2. Currently, the PS3 is kicking the 360's butt in a number of ways such as worldwide higher demand (just pointing out NA and ignoring the rest of the world is a VERY revealing tactic), better built hardware, and quality and quantity 1st/2nd party software selection.

And fanboys of other console do not troll the PS forums...???  You have to be VERY one-sided to not realize this and to actually think (being delusional) that they are only ones to spread FUD.  That's very revealing as well.  Go figure.

I have not read through all the posts in this thread. But please read mine again. I have in no way bashed the PS3. I only stated that I like Wii games better. How dar I say the Wii has better games than the PS3 right?

most people will say this or that group is responsible. But the reason for that is that there are groups that support each console that are responsible for it. It's just the way it is. It's not one particular group but rather 3.
