Wii 2 delay? I wasn't aware that Wii 2 was ever announced.

I am aware that Pachter isn't a real analyst though, an analyst should analyze.

Pachter, PLEASE don't hurt'em.  How many people does Pachter hurt each time he opens his mouth with these predictions?  Think of all that fanboys who put their reputation on the line trusting Pachter and have them ruined.  Apparently Pachter NOT delaying hurts people.

In recards to covering what he said regarding Wii HD, there could be something.  Apparently Pachter is upset that Nintendo doesn't listen to him, so he grabs onto anything to justify what he is saying.  Also, if Pachter were all that, wouldn't some game company hire him to run things?  He is supposed to be a financial wiz regarding the videogame industry, so some company in the industry must want him, and willing to pay him more than he makes now, right?

 

He makes 800k/year, probably more than you. He is usually spot on with the things he says. You have to remember he isn't paid for making financial forecasts it isn't his speciality. He does it for  fun. He's an investment advisor and stock analyst covering the video game sphere.

I own a Gamecube and a Gameboy Player. And there's more to life than massive sales like having a good game library. The Gamecube has over 190 green rated games at Metacritic. So far, the Wii has less than 150, less than half the number that are on 360, and almost 100 less than PS3.

Metacritic is lopsidedly weighted towards the industry media. Wii has more worthwhile games on the Virtual Console alone than GC does in it's entire library.

Patcher he just wants to appear on the internet and get famous, that is why he keep doing this , just look at this thread it all ready has 10 pages, but not cuz it is a good thread its cuz he is so nonsense some times , that we must talk about him and i think that this is all he wants a little bit of fame among gamers.

lol.  No, I'm sorry but not even close.

Gamecube did have a port of almost every important third party multiplatform title from last gen.

For starters, It had all the EA Sports games including EA Big titles like the NBA Street series. It had all of the big UBiSoft games like Prince of Persia, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell, and Beyond Good and Evil. The Wii hasn't even had one Assassin's Creed game this gen or a version of something as big as Batman: Arkham Asylum or MW2. And, almost all the EA Sports titles are trimmed down for Wii.

lol, what?  Where was GTA?  Where was Silent Hill? Street Fighter? Burnout (after 2)? Guitar Hero?  Metal Slug?  Fatal Frame?

Every EA Sports game was also "trimmed down" for GameCube (at least the Wii versions are online).  Wii gets COD, it gets Lego, it gets Guitar Hero, Rock Band, Sonic, Silent Hill, NFS, and plenty of other big brands.  And more importantly, it actually gets a decent amount of exclusives.  GC never got an exclusive near as big as MH3 or DQX.  The biggest GC got was probably REmake... and that was a remake. :/

In case the fanboys can't understand it, from an investor's standpoint, i.e. pach's standpoint, the results shown above have to be extremely disappointing.

Extremely disappointing? If that's the case Nintendo's stock would've fallen SIGNIFICANTLY. NTDOY started the day at 40.5 and dipped to 39.80. Hardly the disappointing results you speak of. Especially considering the fact that this is the first profit drop in 6 years. 

You are confusing disappointing with unexpected.  Falling profits during what should be the height of cycle profitability and in an improving economic climate is disappointing.
