I'll get one for sure, maybe even at launch. I don't care for 3D, but I'm expecting good first party games.

I have never owned a Nintendo handheld. ( I know...) Although I did buy a DS for my dad (my mom was complaining that she never got to speak to me on Skype because my dad was always immersed in Sudoku puzzles).
The 3DS will be my first. If it isn't region-locked, I will pick it up first day. If it is, I will buy it when I decide which continent I want to live on.

Yes will definately buy but not necessarily day one (which will be the first time I haven't bought a nintendo console day one for quite some time)...depends if they release a high profile new game with the systems launch really.

Cos it's a 3d system I'm worried they're just gonna sit back and launch the machine with a funked up '3D-ified' version of an older game (which I'll more than likely already have played to death) while it takes 'em another year or 2 to get around to actually releasing a new game for the machine which I wanna play.

When I got the ds the only thing out was Mario 64 DS and a crappy demo for the Metroid game...and a few 3rd party games which didn't grab me. To me it took about 2-3 years before the ds started living up to it's potential and I'm kind of expecting that this time around...

I can already see its success!
