I know it's personal opinion but people who name Smash Brothers Brawl as a legit fighting game need to play a proper fighting game.

I agree. Smash Bros is a fun but I don't even consider it when I think of fighting games.

Well fortunately the decision as to the grouping of games into genres is not up to you

SSBB for me by a long way - I found Soul Caliber 4 to be exactly the same game as 2, which was fun with a few friends but impossible to play properly because it was inbalanced and button mashing would win against anyone short of a tournament player

Tekken 6 hands down.

I don't think the next installment will be Tekken 7, but rather, Tekken Tag Tournament 2.

I know it's personal opinion but people who name Smash Brothers Brawl as a legit fighting game need to play a proper fighting game.

And I could say people that say Smash Bros isn't a legit fighting game needs to actually play it with skilled players.

As for me this gen in no real order it'd be Brawl, Tatsunoko vs Capcom, and Soul Calibur IV.  Which covers brawlers, 2D technical, and 3D Technical fighters, some other notable ones would be Naruto UNS and Street Fighter IV, everything else has been sort of so-so to me, I didn't care for Blaz Blue, I never cared for Tekken after the PS1 era, and Virtua Fighter has never been something I've liked.

MaxwellGT2000 - "Does the amount of times you beat it count towards how hardcore you are?"

Wii Friend Code - 5882 9717 7391 0918 (PM me if you add me), PSN - MaxwellGT2000, XBL - BlkKniteCecil, MaxwellGT2000

tekken 6 of course the king of fighters!!!!!!

Super Smash Bros Brawl HANDS DOWN!!!

You can never get a more addictive fighting game than Super Smash Bros... EVER!!!

But other favs are Street FIghter IV and Tekken 6.

Tekken 6, so I'm a little biased but it's my favourite whether or not it's the best. I don't think much of Street Fighter IV, just isn't fun, seems so slow.

Then Tekken 6 has Mokujin, playing online with him is more entertaining then playing as my favourite. I'm sure people just get confused by him because they can't tell who I am.

Hmm, pie.

Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.

Smash Bros brawl is the best fighting game this gen so far. Thats until Marvel v Capcom 3 comes out and if its really good.

Unquestionably.

Bet between Slimbeast and Arius Dion about Wii sales 2009:

If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.

If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.
