Meh, he used a rifle from a far distance. Now had he fought them up close with only a toothpick, while they had machetes and armour, then maybe I could call him a hero.

The term 'hero' is given away far to easily these day's, apparently everyone in the military is a hero

Yeah, "meh" is definitely the right word here. He only made a record breaking shot to kill two terrorists. No biggie. I do that every weekend.

Even though I was being sarcastic with my first two sentences, I don't really like making a sport of killing people, so no I don't think what he did with the best rifle money can buy is all that great. I'm not going to turn this into an off-topic debate, so I'm just gonna end this here.

Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.

Don't forget he made the record breaking shot 3 times in a row. 2 to disable the terrorists, and 1 to disable his weapon.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

Well, when you mix sarcasm with a kind of moral message, people can get confused.

Just stop trying to downplay the accomplishment. It's pathetic. And there's nothing here that suggests that killing is being treated as a sport besides the concept of records, and that's not limited to sports.

And since you ended it, I guess you won't respond. Good.

Something tells me the people making light of this feat have never shot a rifle in their life. You know, the real thing, not the Call of Duty equivalent.

PWND.

4 ≈ One

Meh I pulled off shots like that all the time way back in Halo 2. Hell stuff I did there was hell of a lot more impressive haha.

But seriously good job.

What he did is absolutely amazing.  He may have the best equipment in the world, but at such a long distance moving the gun a 'hair' will change the the shot by a few feet.

I had to google what a Double Down was:

Dayum.
