Monster Hunter 3 is my favorite game on the Wii thus far. It's only second to Demon's Souls overall, but that may change

I'm going to vote for it right now. The more the merrier!

I don't use the Nintendo Channel, to be honest I don't even have it...

 

Are the user scores fair, or do we see some higher ratings that were not supposed to be so high?

I have never voted so I am not entirely sure, but I think it lets you vote only for games that you have had on your Wii. If so, then contrary to user reviews everywhere else, you will have much less anti Wii fanboys purposefully bringing the score of certain games down, and it will be only people who actually have the game that will give it their rating...

Yeah monster hunter 3 is really paying off capcom's efforts on the Wii.

People who never played the game have no reason to vote on a game they never played even if they dislike the game.

People who played the game and dislike it can give it a 1 to hurt the scoring or a 10 to give it a boost.

Nothing biased about that.

I find it a very mixed bag - Mario Galaxy is only a silver (85-89%), Little King's Story has no medal, while Red Steel 2 (which perhaps just about deserves a bronze [80-84%]) is gold (90-94%). Sometimes I'm pleasantly surprised by the games getting recognition (e.g. Disaster: DOC). I hope they bring out the budget re-release range over here for medal-earning games.

Over time, games tend to go down in the rankings, then stabilize.  Red Steel 2 won't be gold for long most likely.  I also doubt MH3 stays platinum, it'll probably settle in at gold.
