Despite official confirmation from Nintendo, theblack Wii console seems to be all but confirmed for North America thanks to a monthly print ad from GameStop. The ad shows a bundle that includes Wii Sports, Wii Sports Resort, Wii MotionPlus and the console along with one Wiimote, and was supposed to remain undercover until May 4th but was leaked early thanks to an anonymous GameStop employee.

As rumored earlier this week, the ad does confirm that the new bundle will cost $200. It is expected to hit shelves in the US on May 9th before arriving in Canada on May 23rd. [viaKotaku]

From the looks of it, US will be getting black Wii's sooner than expected!

I wonder why nothing is ever a surprise, can't the developers just anounce the retailers for new stuff the week before? retailers ruin the surprise

Sweet I haven't bought a Wii yet since money has been tight but I will probably get this once The Last Story or the Next Zelda is released whichever one comes first.
