I thought explosion unnecessary was the best. I would feel like such a jackass if I got killed just by the impact of a nade hitting me in the face.

Lol, yeah I don't see the hate on the voice either. It's always been there since Halo 2. The announcer voice thing has been a part of games since Unreal Tournament. I like it.
