Well, Bungie would make a PS3 exclusive, and Activision would be around $100 million richer (at Sony's expense).

Would it cause meltdowns? Probably. Would it sell huge numbers? Probably. Is it happening? No.

not really, this is stupid.

I don't think many fans want halo that much on the ps3, as I have said there are a lot of decent FPS on ps3

and people are foolish to think that halo on ps3 will sale hardware...

I was just trying to say how Sony will be able to help themselves if they even take a few fans of Bungie to 360 in North America.

Sony would have to do something amazing to get a timed exclusive with activision because they are clearly a multiplatform company.  Besides that activision has a great relationship with microsoft and bungie has a great relationship with microsoft.  Just a few years ago activision was threatening to cut ps3 support and criticizing sony so I don't see them becoming good buddies anytime soon.

A year ago, you mean. And just because he criticized Sony doesn't mean they're enemies or they hate Sony. I swear, it's just like Shinji Mikami all over again. One quote gets blown out of proportion.

Halo is big thanks to high-class multiplayer. XBL contributed a lot to the success and I don't see PSN capable of doing that...

we of course it would be interesting and result in internet meltdowns and all kinds of grief - as you well know I presume.

on the other hand, that's one of the biggest 'What ifs...' I've seen mooted. Chances are so slim for this I'd rather hope to win the lottery.

If Sony wanted an exlcusive game from Bungie, they'd negociate a deal with Bungie directly coz if Sony asked for an exlcusive to Activision, Bobby Kotick would laugh at Sony and reply with a big fat NO.

don't forget that money talks, you have no IDEA how much money microsoft paid for the exclusivity of those episodes (Timed)
