I think those games would have sold better if they were in HD. People these days don't want to play shooters in last gen graphics. I'm one of them. PS Move will most likely have better sells for shooters cause of HD. That's how I see it.

The Wii doesn't have last gen graphics. Devs don't bother to put effort into it. The games would of sold better if more effort was put into them and were promoted. Also graphics don't make by the way and the Playstation Move has lag and is a rip off of the Wii Mote and nunchuck. Also they are decent number PS3 gamers not happy with the move.

No reason to act that way.  I didn't say anything bad about the Wii.  The move will have lag for some games but what I seen in vids it has less lag than Wii.  I know cause I had a Wii.  None of that have anything to do with your thread anway so why bring it up.  Plus Sony don't care if some of they gamers don't like the move.  Millions of others will.

Yes did say something bad about the wii. You said it had last graphics. It doesn't  The motion plus is underused btw. I have been  hearing that  the wiimote does beter with aiming than first person shootrs. Sony said earlier the motion controls were a fad. IT is pretty funny they just copied nintendo. THe move looks like a wiimore and nunchuck.  Also if guys go buy it and call the wiimote a fad. You all are hypos.

if everytime people stopped buying a game because they disliked 1 minor thing both sony & microsoft would be bankrupt now

RE:DC, NMH1, HOTD:overkill (this one sold really well wtf) should not be on that list for sure.

Conduit, Silent hill and madworld are kinda iffy, the rest really didn't sell though.

currently playing: Skyward Sword, Mario Sunshine, Xenoblade Chronicles X

Truth be told; not enough of a nerdy fanbase on the Wii. Only nerds care about the status of a game or gamer being 'hardcore', while the rest of the world either doesn't know what "hardcore game/gamer" means, doesn't care, or sees the whole idea of a gamer or game being "hardcore" as completely ridiculous. Most gamers want games that look interesting or fun; not games to make them feel hardcore and cool (this is only important to the nerdy type of gamer).

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

It's very simple actually. Much better equivalent content can be found on the HD twins. Thus, core gamers, steered clear. With the possible exception of Red Steel 2, all other games are justified "bombs".

the only ones that i agree is about The Conduit and Madworld, Madworld is too unique, there are much better shooters on Wii than The Conduit

even if No More Heroes is not a perfect game it still deserves above 0.50m

the most valid reasons are "no promotion", "piracy", "most Wii gamers simply don't like those games", or even " they are too short, so when someone finishes the game, gives it to a friend, so no need to buy, so no legs"

don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^

so your making excuses why they didn't sell O_o

They aren't excuses . They are real reasons why they didn't sell.

If theyre real your going to have to give us a clearly valid source.. surely we all know that some games in that list didn't sell well for some of those reasons but there is no way of ignoring the bad sales of 3rd party games.. only really big franchises sell well for 3rd parties (Resident Evil, COD)

Madworld had alot of ads and alot of hype, sold horrible

Conduit had alot less adds but alot more hype, sold horrible

those games are both definetly not bad.. they are obviously nowhere near the hype but theyre not bad and deserved more sales..

Currently playing: MAG, Heavy Rain, Infamous

Getting Plat trophies for: Heavy Rain, Infamous, RE5,  Burnout and GOW collection once I get it.

For all of them...

They are on Wii. Core games don't sell on the Wii.

Your logic is flawed. All COD games on wii have sold a million, Resident Evil 4 sold a million, brawl has sold over 9 million, New super Mario Bros sold 13 million, Super Mario Galaxy sold over 8 million, Super Paper Mario sold over 2 million, Punch Out sold over a million, zelda sold over very well, Monster hunter 3 sold over a million in Japan and the only 3rd party to do so.

Face the facts fanboy. These wii games didn't because they either sucked, had no promotion, they carried the same name from a previous bad game, boring, short, and etc.

Logic is correct.

-COD and Resident Evil games sell several times more on HD consoles.

-Anything with Mario will sell, hardcore or not.

-Punch-out!! is not 'hard-core'... it is more of an 'arcade' game which does well on Wii.

-Zelda was a launch title, and the only title worth getting at the time.

Face the facts! The Wii does not have the same user-base demographics as the HD consoles!

-Resident evil 5 waS NEVER on Wii

-COD still sold well. The only reason it sold better on the other two consoles is because it promoted a lot more on them. besides they still  sold a million.

-mario shows gamers do exist on wii.

-punch out is a gamer's game. A gamer's game is  hardcore game. So shut up.

-Luigi's mansion was a launch title and it didn't do that well. really shut up. Zelda  sold because gamers got it.

Take a look at this list of top-selling games here: http://vgchartz.com/worldtotals.php?console=Wii

Count how many games you would consider "hardcore" on that list. I got 11.

11 OUT OF 50.

The rest consisted of games like Just Dance, Carnival Games, EA Sports Active, Guitar Hero, Rayman Raving Rabbids, Game Party, and of course the Wii series.

The demographic for Nintendo's systems is centered around "everyone". It consists of females, seniors, children, and families... what would you see them buying? Resident Evil or Game Party? Metroid: Other M or New Super Mario Bros Wii?
