The PSP does alright in the Others region, usually doing around 360 numbers.  But, I think the Go could have been a breathe of fresh air to the PSP line, but unfortunately Sony overpriced it.  I think if it had been priced at $169.99-$199.99, it could have been selling pretty damn well.  I know I want one, but I'm not paying $250 for it.  For $50 more I could get a Slim.  My thinking is Sony just wanted to get some profit from the early adaptors to help with the losses from the PS3.  I wonder if they'll announce a cut for the Go at E3.

The price of PSP Go isn't so big problem the price of PSP games in PSN store is huge problem. I know I'd be buying a lot of them if they were priced in 5-15euro range but when new ones cost 30 euros i say FU and get pair of pc games or ps3 game for that cash.

Also PSP imho in west became a japanophile user console and general audience doesn't care about it.

Xbox reaching new lows? I don't think I've ever seen it below 2.5k yet. And poor PSP Go, Japanese can't apriciate it's greatness as I do :).

look at it this way. FF has been on the market for over 4 months in japan.

It has sold 1.9M copies to 5.1M ps3 owners, that's 37% of the market.

FFX sold 2.3 Million (Famitsu Data) before it got like 3 re-releases which led to it eventually selling 3 Million in Japan.

FFXIII will return to the top 50 with re-releases & a Versus XIII + FFXIII pack in! Down with Agito XIII!

What are PS3 and Wii YTD sales in Japan?

Hey, this is off-topic, but is just me or is anyone else having troubles visualising the color in text and some other text properties?

@Kenology: In HW, VGC has the Wii at 576k and the PS3 at 536k.
In SW it has the PS3 at 3075k and the Wii at 3007k.
