Too much hate in the list. Some games made high because they lack innovation and thus polemics involved with any trully remarkable title - no hate, only reasonable scores for them.
Overall VI first was predictable. Sexist nerds brought FFX-2 down.
My favorites FF are in the 3 first positions..

It's kinda funny the top 2 originally weren't going to be voted on. Either way, no real surprises here... this is about how the IGN lists tend to go as well when voted on by the actual IGN employees.
The SNES final fantasies are generally the most beloved among those who have played them. That's not to say EVERYBODY who has played them loves them... but the vast majority do.
I agree with the list, for the most part. 4, 6, and 9 are tied as my top ones.
However, I did like the gameplay in Final Fantasy X-2 even if the story and characters weren't really the best.

Grah, I couldn't find the polls for FFXII and FFXIII for the life of me. Oh well, it probably wouldn't have mattered.
Personally I don't agree with the results, but it is all opinion, eh? My list from my favorite to my least favorite would be FFVII > FFX-2 > FFX > FFVIII = FFIII > FFXIII > FFXII > FFVI > FF > FFII > FFIV.
FFV - Never played, but highly interested in it, and I am mostly confused as to why I have not played it yet.
FFIX - Never played, nor do I have much interest, but if and when it comes to the PSN I will play it.
FFXI - Never played, never will.
I fully understand why FFVI is so high, but FFIV is just one of those games that is so bad that it amazes me that people like it (once again, I'm not trolling, just my honest opinion). Maybe its similar to how I love Frogger for the playstation... when so many reviewers gave it a 5 or less... :P
