Forums - Sales Discussion - Which games of your collection Did you regret Buying?

3 of my PS3 titles were mistakes.

Let's start with "Conan". Loved the books from Howard, and knew that the game is a God of War clone,so I thought it would be fun...As it turned out,it's too short, too repeatable ,the visuals are mediocre and was a waste of money.

The second mistake was "Viking:Battle for Asgard",but it wasn't my mistake. Someone gave it to me as a present, cause I'm really into mythologies, and because she's not a gamer she thought she found something ideal for me..Well this game has the worst graphics I've seen in a seventh generation game,it's even more repeatable than Conan, the gameplay is poor and the frame rate is frustrating...Not to mention that it's another Lord of the Rings rip off.

Finally, the biggest mistake of my Collection: "Lost",or "Lost:Via Domus" in America.I'm a big fan of the series,I think it's the best thing I've seen on Television. So, I forgot about the Rule : any game that is based on a TV series or a Movie Sucks. (except Golden Eye ofc :P) I won't even describe to you how awful this game was.

I'm waiting for the opportunity to trade these titles,or sell them. But believe me,both of them are difficult to accomplish.

Have you as well made similar mistakes to mine? Which of your games do you consider to be a waste of time?

I regret spending approximately $10 on Lair.
I don't have a 360 so I kinda regret buying Eternal Sonata for 360. But the cover is pretty.

batman returns for the SNES. You might remember it form a AVGN episode. That game sucks so bad it makes me cry for my wasted childhood.

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance - GBA - I figured I'd give it a try after playing all the superb Advance Wars games, and Fire Emblem for Wii & GC. I heard good things about Final Fantasy Tactics... The same can't be said about Advance as the game was slow, boring, and confusing.

The rest of the games I regret buying I sold for a profit, so yea...

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy
In the past we played games. In the future we watch games. - Forest-Spirit

I own all three games you mentioned, but I have to admit that I don't regret buying any of them. I paid around $32 for all three of them, so I didn't expect much. I particularly enjoyed Conan.
However, I do regret buying Enchanted Arms, Afro Samurai and Dynasty Warriors 6 for PS3 and Wii in general.

Overlord raising hell
Vampire Rain
resistance 2

Well would take too long to list all my regrets but there is one that stands out:

Prototype

There is no game in the history of my gaming years that I regret buying more than this one. Especially knowing I allowed these guys to get paid for making something that wasn't even a game but something made for the sheer since of marketing and marketing alone. So yea we'll just leave it at Prototype.

I'll go right ahead & say it......none.

Each game I got however disappointing or bad did satisfy me enough, if it didn't it got returned usually for full price so I didn't feel bad about playing the game for free.
