The only problem I have with the mod staff is that they don't ban for "fail posts." There's an unusually high concentration of fail, stupid, and/or unfunny posts on Vgchartz, and it should be a bannable offense. The forums would be a much better place for this.

Otherwise, they're amazing. I should know, being I was one once. Mods are the best in bed (or so they discuss amongst each other).

The Mods on VGChartz are the kindest, most honest, best suited, and most fair mods I have ever encountered on the internet.

If you see a mod, will you tell them I said it exactly like they told me to? :P

Haha, in all seriousness, they are very fair and don't take any s**t, so I like them.

Nah. That was borderline, on and off fail.

I'm talking about the cringe-worthy posts. You know, the ones where people post several year old memes (and some people even still laugh at them). Or the ones where people posts overused de-motivator posters. I dunno, just seems lazy.

That means pretty much everything you say here is offending to someone in one form or another.

Also, I wrote so many posts and threads that were against the rules that any other person would have gotten permabanned twenty times over for all of it. But I really am a lucky bastard, hence why I also can win in Mario Kart Wii most of the time.

why did you stop being a mod

i couldn't be a mod because i wouldn't ban anyone,unless they were being downright rude or bullying

It's far from perfect. I've been banned a few times for doing things that others didn't get banned foror things the moderator misunderstood. That said, I think it's a system that works about 80% of the time. The other 20% are those who just ban avoid or make alts and those who get banned because the moderator didn't understand the discussion and sided with the person who reported the offense.

Yeah the moderation system is terrible. Like obviously if a guy comes in spouting off racist comments or whatever then yeah get rid of him, but they take things like trolling way too seriously.

They're trying to make it so nobody says anything bad about another console but in the process they make the site boring by banning anyone who tries to make a controversial thread. They need to let way more things slide.
