umm.. people I hope you understand that it's just a show, not a real court. There are many fake court shows in every country now. i wonder why are they so popular, usually scripts for them are written very poorly and actor's play is even worse...

No, Judge Judy and most of those American court shows are in fact quite real. However, the one thing they don't mention is that both the defendant and the plaintiff get a pay-off whether they win or lose (often more than the value of the items in dispute).
