That's a great number for MH Tri, especially compared to Red Steel 2 which at week 5 is at 40000 in Others

Highly unlikely that Tri will have a week-over-week gain in Europe, disappointing numbers.

give me a break, those are excellent sales for a game that used to not sell in the west.

I wouldn't be making excuses for the game western sales this early, but if you think 70k is good for the first week, hey you have that right.

does anyone know how tri did compared other monster hunter releases in others? I think the people who said it did bad are very wrong when you compare it to the other MH games.

What? I think you should take a look at ALL other Monster Hunter openings in the region.

MHF opened to probably around 10K.

MHF2 opened to 16K.

Even MHFU opened to only 25K.

So how is nearly tripling the most successful MH's opening "disappointing"? And don't say userbase, Wii does not have triple the userbase MHFU launched on.

A game I'm developing with some friends:

It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.

It is compared to previous MH games.

Good week overall

Hardware has become depressing though.

On the software front:

- Great start for MH3

- FF13 PS3 went up in sales excellent!

- Heavy Rain shows strong sustained sales, so does GOW3

- Nier is a disaster in sales....not that were were expecting anything else

- Splinter Cell has decent week 2

- The rest is as normal!

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey
