some serious hardware....

I'd heard of the Evo phase 1, but just because I chanced upon it at Wikipedia. If I recall, it was just designed to run PC games on a television.

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

I heard of the hyperscan, saw it in toys r us I think. Bought my 3 and 4 yr old the orange video game console by some kids company that focuses on education games. They love it.

Phase one sounds interesting if you only really play pc games. But, it would be better to just get a much more powerful pc and connect it wired or wirelessly to your tv. You would then have a much bigger harddrive and better software choices as well.

The only one of those that will last more than 2 years will be the hyperscan due to it being cheap and for kids. However, at the age range they are targeting you could easily just get a wii/360/ps3 without any worries of their ability to understand it. Just at a higher cost/investment.
