Call of Duty 4 : Reflex wii is by far the best one on the wii. Call of Duty W@W up next but online full of trick jumpers and glitch exploiters now sadly ... . Medal of Honor Heroes 2 is a solid title 32 multiplayer online great controls.
MP3 is the best if you consider it a FPS.
I still need to get Call of Duty: Modrrn Warfare... World at War is pretty good though.
MOH: Heroes 2 is a great game for as cheap as you can probably find it now. The controls are great.
If he wants an on rail shooter, tell him to get Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles or HoTD: 2 and 3 The Return. Dead Space Extraction is horrible. Don't listen to those suggestions.

Its a good game but the best part is the multiplayer (when its not full of cheaters), and Toddifer already cleared that the friend its looking for a good SOLO game, and that's the worst part of The Conduit. In that case the others are better options.

given this i'd say Metroid Prime Trilogy (great story and experience, you are NEVER "guided" through the game, on the contrary you have to explore and figure the way out to proceed. they are 3 of the best games ever in one package)and Call of Duty: MWR (best war fps you can find on wii. period.)
