I know how that feels. My wife was driving me for a few days after my 2nd motorcycle accident and I was so paranoid the entire time. I felt like every car we were coming up on that we were going to rear end it. I then avoided the highway where I had my accident for over a year. However, I hopped back on a motorcycle about 2-3 months later, so if I can do that, you can get your automobile liscense.

I got hit by a car, I think you remember this though, as you took the flack for me

My father had a serious car accident when I was a baby, the passenger's seat got wrecked with the baby seat in it, and I only wasn't there because before we left, I started to cry like insane so they left me home with mother.

I don't think I've ever came close to dying but my young brother did... by my fault. I was working on a little wood camp when I was about 14, it was very high up (like over 4 meters high).

After hammering some nails on the roof, in a stupid move I decided that the hammer would get down faster if I just let it fall to the ground. My little brother (4 years old) was running around the camp, the hammer fell right in front of him, inches away from crushing his skull.

I've never felt so bad in my life!

About 6 years ago I was in the passenger side of my friend's mini-van when he took a highway off-ramp too quick and veered in to the ditch and the Van rolled right back up on to the road. We were all ok after, but I was pretty lucky since when the van landed on it's right side, my window smashed and I hit the road. I don't know how my head didn't smack the pavement, since my shoulder sure did. In the end I was just bruised and My hand was pretty mangled from where I punched the road (no stitches though).

What was funny was that two days later when I woke up, my hand had become infected and swelled right up. I opened the door to go to the hospital to discover the worst snowstorm of the year. I couldn't tell if the buses were running, so I had to hitchhike to the hospital with my mangled bloated hand too swollen to make a decent hitcher symbol.

Also, I got hit by a van two weeks ago. Again, I only suffered scrapes, bruises and a partially torn ligament on my right knee, but what was lucky was that I got hit from behind while reading a map on a billboard and the van plowed straight in to the billboard. I still can't quite figure out how I didn't end up between the two, which while it might not have killed me, certainly would have put an end to my walking days. Here's a pick

Yeah, I was standing maybe 3 feet in front of the map, right at the middle of it, but somehow it sent me flying diagonally away from the map. I don't remember the hit itself. I just remember jumping off the ground, screaming "I JUST GOT HIT BY A F#$@ING CAR!" and then getting woozy.

When babies are born, they rate their healthiness on a scale from 1-10. I was a 1. I came very close to dying before I was even born. There were a variety of complications, the largest of which was having the umbilical cord literally choking me to death. That combined with a few others things, put me in really bad condition.

Also I used to drive with a certain family member all the time when she was drunk when I was younger.

Some scary times.

I once ran my foot through a glass table by accident over at a friend's place. We kept laughing and making jokes about it, until my mom came over and took me to the hospital, where we had to wait a few hours to get it stitched. Yup, it was every bit as exciting as it sounds. In other words, my worst accident was spam to Death's inbox.

Ok true story,

I was in the bathroom taking a crap and it was so wide I couldn't get it out, I literally thought I was going to die sitting there trying to take a crap. I was sweating and pushing, it was rough.

It's nothing compared to others but it is my closest I guess.
