Yep people are buying way too much into holiday increases.  I swear people would have been yipping and screaming at any rise for PS3, despite a lot of it doing with holiday increases.

I'm happy for the PS3 but you can't tell if it's increasing because of this stuff or holiday rises yet.  If you can then you are simply lying.

 Persistent little shit eh.  Well I really don't have to do anything.  I've read these topics numerous times and found exactly what has been stated and responded to it accordingly.  You on the other hand seemed to have jumped in randomly and simply looked at the posts in this topic.  Of coure ignorantly you forgot that my post, and most likely madskillz, was probably talkign about in general the mood in the entire forum, which included all threads.

The sad thing for you though is the burden of proof is on you.  Madskillz and I know what we are talkign about and we know we are right in our justifications that are quite reasonable.  If you seem them not fit then prove it.  But you have to search every god damn post in this forum to make sure it wasn't stated once that the PS3 increases will bring the demise of the Wii.  You've got an entire forum buddy to prove us wrong.  Better get started.  Ducks don't live too long I hear.  

360 has better software and costs less, but is neck and neck with the PS3 WW with no BC. Come on, I doubt anyone had the PS3 over the 360 in any week during the holidays WW. 

So what would be better, a 300% increase consisting of 240k units or a 200% increase of 520k units? 300% must be better than 200%, right???

Duckaluck- what kinda reasoning is that. Last I checked first of all, Wii was in first place. Don't ya think you should be comparing sales to the top dog not the second one.

But if you must no, I've been saying for awhile that I think PS3 was going to be able to sell better than the 360. I just didn't no win it's sales in Japan and Europe, would outstrip that of the 360 in America alone. The sole problem with the 360 is that it only provides to 50% of the market while the other 50%, besides UK which is no longer being dominated by it. That alone gave PS3 large chances this holiday season to outdo the 360. Why? Well if 360 can only get a second place in it's 50% of America because Wii will be in top, then it can't be that hard for PS3 to gain enough in America and the rest of the regions to come out on top of the 360. It's simple logic that this might have happened but no one thought it this early. Of course no one thought Sony would float $3 billion of its own stocks to do pricedrops and new SKU's to help it out this holiday season and make sure it doesn't go under as a company.

 Um no.  The higher the number is the less percentage it needs to get higher sales.  A 200% increase of 520k units is over 1 million.  While a 300% increase of 240k would not even get it close to that.  Simple arthimetic.  But seeing that I know you made that post as an informative rhetorical question, then yea nice.
