The Slim 360 will have a bigger impact to tell you the truth, Natal is hype more than really important. I haven't seen anything serious about this thing, just a casual fair like Move and the Wii.

But having a small 360 plus a more solid hardware will help in JAPAN and Europe. But, Sony will answer the next year.

You say it's all hype? Would M$ really have 2 conferences at E3 both of the same length if they werent confident about this? Would they really spend the same money launching Natal as they did with 360 if they weren't confident. I think M$ know what they have is more than a waving remote in their grasp. Everyone complains we haven't seen more games. Maybe M$ have waited to show us, because they dont want the competition to see it yet. After all, M$ are spending a new console launch on this thing.

I think people will be shocked as to how warm the casuals will be to this.

Giving Natal 'console launch' treatment and huge advertisement aren´t guarantees Natal will be huge as you put it...the software will have to be quite appealing to the general public.

Agreed.

Either

1. They have kept the games close to their chests because they are revolutionary.

or 2. They were really far from showable.

I actually believe the former. Considering they have a seperate press conference for Natal and it's launch games.

You say "They have kept the games close to their chests because they are revolutionary."....well, the true test will be if the public agrees they´re revolutionary.

Like I said, if the software really resonates well with consumers, then it´s possible word of mouth will be more valuable to propel Natal´s success than all the $$$ MS will be throwing around in ads.

Didn't Sony spend most of it's E3 last year showing off the PSP-Go?  That worked out well... :P

Personally, I will be buying Natal if it shows more than Ricochet 2 at E3 :)

The one video where they show the girls talking and says I found the perfect dress for you and she was able to see how the dress looked on her really blew me away.... (Not that I wear dresses, that I will admit in a public forum anyhow :P )

 

EDIT: Like your new sig... I can't wait for that game!  Probably my 5th most anticipated game this year behind Fable 3, Reach, FFXIII and Heavy Rain
