New DRM on PSN: Forced Online

The anti-consumerness of this move by Capcom is baffling.

I say, a boycott is the only way. If you buy this crap, you vote with your wallet and make it worse for everyone!
Companies must learn that this sh*t doesn't fly.

EDIT: Capcom's sole reason for doing this is probably so you can't share the game with up to 4 other people, like you can do with other PSN releases. Yes, greed is good!

get used to it soon all your games will require you to be online you laughed when it was PC gamers but now it is starting to leak into the console gaming arena, the end is nigh we are all dooooomed

I'm saying to the OP - Anything that happens on the ps3 now that is considered negative we gunna hear this boycotting shit. Lets just enjoy our system and play games :P I got the game... I played it online coop and I'll only use my account - no biggy to me.

No, it is Sonys.   Sony create the DRM options for publishers to use.

Twist it whatever way you want. But Sony isn't FORCING them to make games online only.

that's not entirely true this is still capcom's, Software companies can put their own DRM into their game as long as it's in compliance.

Sony created the DRM option for a reason.  There is no twisting, that is just fact, but its cool to hate on Capcom even when Sony is the one responsible.

just because Sony offer's developer's their own DRM does not mean that the software company does not have one of their own!

we do not know which one capcom used because they can use one of their own as long as it's in compliance.

for that matter capcom could indeed used both or multiple DRM's.
