I do find this to be pretty sad. Peeps voting down a game that is not out yet because they do not own the system. This is a classic case of insecurity.

my addvice (even though i don't own a 360) is to wait for the people you can actually trust. i mostly trust xplay, gameinformer, and a group of friends accross all 4 platforms (yes this group includes pc as a console). most of them say alan wake is perfect. i've never trusted Metacritic.

Its so stupid to vote a game down that isnt released yet.

First because everyone will see how biased they are and noone will ever give a crap about the user ratings and second because they actually judge it without ever playing it.

Alan wake is definetly a game that could make me buy a 360. Denying the fact that it looks promising is stupid.

It's not equal (not even close), one side seems to have way more people with too much time on their hands. I'll let you figure out which side that is.

If it doesn't work both ways, show us how more it happens on Meta to 360 games than PS3 games. We'll have a better understanding.

 

I wasn't talking about meta scores exclusively, but all the retarded shit that a certain group of "gamers" do with their spare time (which they seem to have plenty of). And I never said it doesn't work both ways, I said one group does it far more than the other. I don't need to gather stats for you, unlike other people I don't have time for this shit. Take a quick look at youtube, this website, or any other multi-plat gaming site and you will quickly see how disproportionate it really is.

I understand that a certain system had plenty of shit flung its way early on (deservedly so), but that is not a good reason to be obnoxious and annoying.

On youtube? Have to disagree with you there. I can't STAND any fanboy, regardless of console preference, on youtube. I hate fanboys in general, but I can't stand the nerds on youtube, period. Do you see the comments of people who suck up to both TheTruthSettingUFree and GeneralMLD? Neither side is better than the other if I compare the 2.

I hate fanboys period I don't care what console it's for. GeneralMLD looks like a rapist and gives me the creeps, but that dumb ass Trey4Life guy with the cardboard boxes is borderline retarded and probably the most annoying sack of shit ever. Both sides have their extreme cases, I just see way more coming from the PS3 camp. They're equally annoying, but in disproportionate ammounts. The saddest part about youtube? You can see that these are grown ass men doing this and not children which is really pathetic.

My advice to people is to wait till the game comes out and professional reviewers (IGN, Eurogamer, etc.) post reviews. Reading most user reviews is a waste of time due to all of the fanbois which this clearly shows. How can you review a game you have not seen or played?
