Forums - Nintendo Discussion - What kind of review is this?!?!

http://blogs.cnet.com/8301-13506_1-9823074-17.html

I mean, I know that everybody has their own opinion, but WTH?! What kind of review is this? Can you spell "bias"?

Explanation of sig:

I am a Pakistani.....my name is Dan....how hard is that? (Don't ask about the 101...apparantely there are more of me out there....)

yep it has BIAS written all over it

Just goes to show you can't please everyone. I haven't played it myself mind you (aside from 10 mins spent with the demo) but I too fealt the motion controls were tacked on :/

From 0 to KICKASS in .stupid seconds.

He doesn't like it.

Read it earlier, it was the most obvious attempt at "I'm going to be contraversial and get tons of hits on my website today" I've ever seen. Shame it seems to have worked, it's almost as if the gaming press is now rewarded for giving extremist reviews with only the one intention to be controversial.

I'm not saying someone giving Galaxy a 7/10 is unfair or anything, but the content in the review just shows how terribly written it is.

Gotta love how he keeps trying to dodge between comparing a Wii games graphics to those on PS3 or 360, but when finally gives in at the end of his graphics section. You could tell how hard he tried but alas no such luck.

That's because CNET is a bunch of techwhores. I mean seriously why do you think Wii games at Gamespot normally get lower scores. Becuase of these guys.

Here are the only four words that you need to know:

"Posted by Don Reisinger"

He really does not like or understand the Wii -- if you look at his past postings.

Now if you look at the comments, you cannot please everyone. That being said, since Reisinger has a history of anti-Wii comments, you cannot trust his blog statements.

October 17, 2007 11:50 AM PDT -- In "Wii sales mean nothing if you don't play it" he said "At this point, it may be time for Nintendo to get its head out of the sky and realize its previously infallible device is in danger."

October 12, 2007 7:53 AM PDT -- In "Is the Wii a fad?" he said "Regardless of your loyalty towards the Wii, it's difficult to argue that the device is the savior to gaming we have all been waiting for. Is it refreshing and a breath of ingenuity the industry has needed? Sure. But to call it the greatest thing in gaming is a misnomer. ... The Wii is a fine device, but I need to agree with the developers here -- it has the possibility of becoming a party console, or worse, a fad."

I am Mario.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.

it didn't seem bias to me. The guy just didn't like it as much as everyone else and he has that right. 7 out of 10 is better than i expected him to give in the beginning.

although i think 7/10 is harsh, the title has a lot of truth in it. It just isn't the second best game of all time.

He's not bias, he's just stupid and has no taste in videogames. Just look at what he said during the review

I still consider Super Mario Sunshine to be one of the better games in the Mario franchise

I think most videogamers agree that Sunshine was one of the worst games in the series

What are you looking at, nerd?
