Impressive to say the least that a niche game on the PS3 sold the same (given the margin for error on the site) as an established franchise on the 360...

Yes but SC doesn't include Japan sales ;)

But doesn't matter HR had more impressive sales since it was a fresh IP and a lot of people didn't expect it to do this great....

ya japan sales will add around 20k for SC but still heavy rain has done good.

Wow that really is amazing, A new IP, a whole new type of game, beats out SC conviction, that has a hugh following and is on there like 6 th game, that is nuts, but I love it, I own both Heavy Rain and SC conviction, and Heavy Rain is a better experience all together in my opinion, Also Sc is like 5 hous campaign for 60 bucks, that is stupid.

Seeing how it was a pretty hyped Xbox 360 exclusive, the sales are quite dissapointing.. 300K Pre-orders in US alone and yet it doesn't sell twice that? thats very little.. I think this might be coming to PS3 after all
